I wanted to make it here, does anyone know that particular hot spice? I have made similer dishes, but I was wondering if there is an Italian hot spice I can buy here in the states. I just use the pepper flakes, garlic and olive oil.

Answer:
your talking about "aglio olio e peperoncino"

the easiest pasta dishes ever! put some olive oil in a pan ,smash 4 to 5 clove of garlic, drop in the pan,add some hot pepper (dry is perfect) as soon as you see the garlic starting to color, drop in the pasta, tossed serve with Parmesan cheese .
I think you mean red chillies
theres not none that i know of
when i make spicy spaghetti sauce, i use crushed red pepper. I'm not in Italy though, sorry.
peporoncino
That is probably Pepperoncini, like our Chili Flakes..
