    I need a recipe for "Marinated Italian Olives".?

Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days,anyone help us?

here's mine that everyone always rave about
1 big jar pitted black olives in brine
1 big jar green pimento stuffed olives
6 cinnamon quills
2 lemons quarterd
6 cloves peeled garlic
1 bunch fresh thyme
6 bay leaves
2 red chillies, halved
olive oil to cover
put the drained olives in a big bucket, add all the flavourings, cover with oil and leave in a cool spot for 2 weeks. if you need them in a hurry, put them in a pot on the stoveand heat gently for 2 hours, then cool. leave all the bits in and use the same oil for the next lot, just get fresh lemon.
omg - I love olives! This recipe is really great - better if you let them sit for a week or so!

Mixed green and black olives
Olive oil, to taste
Lemon zest, to taste
Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
2 rosemary sprigs, crushed
Kosher salt, to taste
Slivered garlic, to taste

If olives are in brine, drain and discard liquid. Toss all the olives together in a bowl. Toss with a generous amount of olive oil, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, rosemary sprigs, salt, and slivers of fresh garlic. Let marinate at least overnight and up to a couple weeks in the refrigerator - they'll only get more flavorful.

You can buy them in the ethnic section of your supermarket -- a whole lot easier.
I work in a restaurant in the Netherlands and we use green olives, olive oil, sliced garlic cloves, sliced spanish peppers and rosemary. They are very delicious!!
