Answers:
Yes there is a major difference as I am not mexican in blood but I have traveled and lived in many states in the western parts of the USA. US mexican is blended to the palate, "Taste Buds" to the "Gringo". Means you and I. We use different cheeses, lettuce and spices. In mexica a taco is basicly a small corn tortilla with alittle meat which might be cow meat parts from almost anywhere on the Cow, chicken meat parts or a seafood item topped off with cabbage and a pepper paste sauce with grind up raw peppers with vinegar. You see their is native mexican food that most Americans wont like as the same in chinese food, Filipino food like dried fish. Point is is that I have traveled around mexico and Asia and lived abroad for many years. Just be happy you get the American Version here now, and enjoy knowing that this is the best your palate will most likely Enjoy. But dont get me wrong I have eaten some amazing ethnic food, but mostly I prefer the American style ethnic food.
