The best restuarant in Knoxville is Harold's deli on the north end of Gay street towards Jackson. Kosher style food. breakfast and lunch. Harold's brother (Max) married Jan and I. This is the only place in Knoxville I would call better than the food I cook at home. Go there spontaneously for lunch (after 12:30 to miss lunch rush), the soup will cheer you up. Inexpensive.
