You know, just the first page of a very quick search throws up places called "Japanese Kitchen" in London, New Mexico and Texas... it's hard to be helpful with such a shortage of clues...
However, I'm guessing that you're talking about the heated cooking surface set into the counter-top, used in teppanyaki cooking... ?
The hotplate isn't really necessary, you can actually do the smae food in a large flat pan (teppan is actually a flat iron pan... the yaki refers to grilling).
For the full installation, I'd suggest a restaurant or kitchen suply company, local to you. There are a number of brands of free-standing and built-in grills available, either gas or electric... but they won't be cheap

This is basically a grill like used in most restaurants. You can find them at any restaurant supplier. They make several different sizes. Many of them I believe are gas so you'd have to make sure you are set up to have a gas but I'm sure they do make electric.
I would love to have one, you can cook anything from eggs to veggies on that type of grill.
