Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days,anyone help us?

I absolutely love Japanese restuarants such as Kobe's, Bennahanas, Shogun, etc. The hot sauce at Kobe's is so great but they won't even hint at what makes up the recipe. Anybody have a clue?

Maybe your talking about a sauce made with WASABI. Thats Japanese horse radish. It comes in a paste or a powder. Mix it with soya sauce until you find the strength you like and enjoy. Careful it can be made quite hot.

Maybe it's a mixture of wasabi paste and Japanese mayonnaise. Try the search engine for it. If it is a green color, it has wasabi in it. If it is red, then it's called chiracha- Japanese pepper sauce. You can find both at any Oriental market.

Wasabi Sauce

2 thinly sliced scallions
1 teaspoon of minced fresh coriander
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons wasabi
6 tablespoons unsalted butter

Combine scallion, coriander, lime juice, soy and wasabi paste to a sauce pan and bring to a boil and then remove from heat and whisk in butter.
Remove from heat and serve.
