I'll be moving to Korea soon (I'm Japanese, Korean and Dutch) and though I know there will be lots of good Korean food there I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any good Japanese restaurants and where they are?

Answer:
are you moving to Seoul? If you are...

There are lots of "udon" type restaurants - you can find these everywhere as they are popular as a lunch time choice. They sell udon, donkatsu, donburi - and some limited selection of sushi.

Koreans also have their own "version" of Japanese Sushi/sashimi - and these are readily found in some of the nicer areas, Kangnam, and some great hotels. My husband says that the Shilla hotel has the best Japanese style sushi - and although it is expensive, it is well worth it.

There is the Lotte Hotel (several in Seoul) and all have good Japanese restaurants as this hotel caters heavily to the Japanese tourists.
There are many in seoul as mentioned above Kangnam would have tons.
One that comes to my mind is in Samsungdong and its a sushi buffet named "Todai(Toe-Dai)" I am not sure of the spelling, but its really clean and nice, the choices are amazing there and for lunch it is 29000won/person.
Well worth the price.
