Anyway I think I know what your talking about. As far as I remember the type of lettuce they use in hamster sandwiches is used as a laxative or to induce pregnancy.
Why would you eat a hamster sandwich? I can't see how someone who'd wan't to tuck into a hamster would also desire some lettuce, tomato and onion. Eat the thing straight next time.

Hamsters should always be taken to the slaughter house to be butchered and gutted otherwise you get Variant Mad Hamster disease( VMH). VMH is always fatal After the cramps you will get the insatiable urge to chew the couch and when you go to the gym all you will do is run and run on the treadmill for hours before returning home building a nest of straw and eating your own feet off.

Perhaps you cooked him in a little too much garlic and chillies...next time just marinate him for a few hours and then lightly grill him before putting him between the bread.
