Here's a couple of koogle recipes from California Kosher that sounded
different and interesting.

Cook noodles until tender. Drain and add butter (or margarine) and set
aside Beat together: eggs, sour cream, cottage cheese, sugar and milk. Add
raisins and apricots. Add mixture to noodles. Pour into a greased 8 x 12
baking dish. Mix together topping ingredients. Sprinkle over kugel. Bake
at 350 degrees for one hour. Makes 10-12 servings

My grandma made dessert noodle kugel with left-over noodles, beaten eggs, chopped dried fruit, a little sugar, some cinnamon and cloves.
She also made an amazing savory one with left-over noodles, beaten eggs, caraway seeds, and salt and pepper. (Wonderful served with pot roast and gravy)
Just experiment - set your oven at about 350, and it should take about 35 minutes to an hour to cook. Kugel is done when you put in a knife and it comes out clean. Be sure to butter your dish before filling!
