I was there a week ago, I was invited there, great curry and FAST service. I did not take the name of it, I remember it being close to a moske and the interior was very clean/modern. Great food. I want to go back!

Answers:
I have got two in my head. Zaika and I thinbk the other one is called Cafe Spice.

Other Answers:
The area you're talking about is Brick Lane - the best place in London for a good curry. But this particular restaurant could be one of about 30!

Cafe Spice is pretty modern, as is Bengal Blues (which has live jazz at weekends).

I wouldn't worry if you can't find the exact one, as it's hard to go wrong with so much choice. My tip is that if they're not offering freebies (free wine/money off) then it'll definitely be a better curry (as they don't need to try and tempt people in).
