I would love to make Bulgogi for dinner tonight. One of our favorite restaurants makes an amazing Bulgogi dish. Do you have a family recipe? I have found many recipes on the internet but I would like a true family recipe. I want my dish to be authentic.
Thank you so much!

Answer:
i have quite a few as i love bulgogi ^_^

Bulgogi (this one some ppl already tried and gave good reviews)

* 500g of sukiyaki beef (thinly sliced beef)
* light soy souce (4-6 table spoon)
* 2 tbs of sesame oil
* sugar (3/4 table spoon)
* 1 big onion (you can either make it into a paste using blender or slice them if you like it cruncy)
* 3/4 tbs of chopped garlic
* sliced button mushrooms (entirely up to you how much you want it but dont overdue it)
* 2 tsp of vodka

basically you mixed all those ingredients all together into a bowl with your hands! after you have mixed them all together you have to add a little coca cola or grind a bit of kiwi (to make the meat tender)

leave the marinated beef for a few hours (the best its to leave it overnighti in the fridge)

put some oil in a frying pan, heat it up, cook the meat until it changes from red to gray (you dont have to cook the beef for too long or else it wont be tender) there will be soup too that comes out from the cooked beef and its very nice.

serve sprinkled with a little of sesame seeds, with steaming hot rice! yum!

Chicken 'Bulgogi' (i have tried this one, just substitute the chicken to beef and you'll get your beef bulgogi ^_^)
* 1/2 of 1 medium onion, chopped
* 1/2 - 1 tbsp cherry whisky (I used McGuinness)
* 2 chicken breast, bonned and skinned, slice bite sizes
* 1 green onion, sliced thinly
* 1-2 tbsp Bull's Eye golden honey smoke
* 3 cloves of garlic, sliced thinly
* 1 tbsp Bull's Eye grilled onion & garlic showdown
* 10 carrots (or more), peeled, boiled, drained, and mashed, place on serving plates
* 2 cm ginger, peeled and grated
* cabbage, shredded (optional)
* 1-2 tbsp soya sauce
* 1/2-1 tbsp grounded black pepper
* 1 1/2 - 2 tbsp sesame oil
- Preheat the oven in 375 F

- Meanwhile, in a bowl mix chicken with all ingredients, let stand for 5-7 minutes

- Pour the chicken in a baking dish and cover with aluminium foil leaving a side a little bit open for the steam.

- Bake for 35-45 minutes

- Spoon chicken ontop of mashed carrots or serve with shredded cabbage.
