Australian mango season has just started. The first box for the season sold for $25000.00 aud that $2000.00 per mango but this is a fund raiser for charity the rest wont be that expensive thank goodness
Go to Cerritos Art Center every Saturday to see if they have it there. Believe me it is mostly philipino market place.
Oh, I'm Filipino... but I don't know about Orange County much. However, in Mexican stores they sometimes can be selling adolfo... I think that's what it's called... mangoes from the Philippines. They're sweet and juicy and delicious. =)

The closest to taste (of a Philippine mango) that you can find would be the Ataulfo or Champagne mango. They are from Mexico. Sorry.
