I ate, with a friend,at a local Haitian rest.I had the Haitian chicken. It was in a slow simmering sauce. It was served on a bed of rice-n-beans.It also had a lrge plantain and some kick-but spicy cabbage. The cabbage was called "Spliitz?" (sorry could not understand his accent) I asked if could tell me how it was made.He said,"You will never find the ingredients in an American market" What's so special? can someone tell me how to make this tasty dish at home?
