no but don't they usually put on the menu, what it is in English& describe the ingredients.
si, it is fried dough
Bu?uelos......... very tasty....
yes bunuelos there basically done for the Xmas holidays is a thin crispy tortilla like sweets is made with drought and it difficult to shape them they are also dip with piloncillos(brown burnt like sugar lumps) you make the drought into a ball disk that you stretch out like a thin tortilla then you wait for it do dry out then you fry it and as soon as it out of the oil you put sugar with cinnamon and if you like you can do the piloncillos with water like syrup and let them stand in that syrup its up to you.
Yes, it's banuelos. It is fried dough, not fried tortillas. If you look on allrecipes.com or Goggle for Mexican Recipes I am sure you could find a recipe. In the city where my husband is from (in Mexico) they make them all year long and sell them on the streets with a sugar syrup they put on them. They are delicious.
