I love Peruvian food and eat it often. My husband is from Peru and when I lived with him and his family his mom would always cook Peruvian food so I am very used to it. They have many dishes. I don't know many of their seafood dishes unfortunately except for Ceviche. There's lomo saltado, seco de pollo or carne, aji de gallina, papa a la Huancaina, causa, arroz verde, pollo a la brasa and so many more. All of those dishes above are delicious though. I consider them all my favorties lol! But you should give Peruvian food a chance, it's really good!
I have had Peruvian food only once and it included some sweet pork with citrus! But your picture made me answer! After all, I am the curious dude.
Just like with any other type of regional food, there are some dishes that I prefer over others. One that I tried and like was Lamb Stew Seco de Cordero.
We eat Peruvian food a lot; my wife is from Lima. I really like lomo saltado. Of course, ceviche, especially ceviche mixto, is a favorite, too. My mother-in-law makes wonderful papas rellenas!
