Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Red Mild Kashmiri Chillies for Sorpotel Recipe?),it will help you,my kids.
Does anyone know where I can get these mild red chillies for Sorpotel, other than India? Is there a website or a powder you could recommend?
Answers:
You can find these chillies (dried) at most large India grocery stores, I get them here very easily. Also, many companies do make Kashmiri chilly powder. Most Indian stores in any large city carry the item.
try http://www.badshahmasala.com/static/products4.htm#Top
or www.kalustyans.com
Other Answers:
if in the US and if there arent any indian stores around try the normal grocery stores eg Krogers, albertsons, ralphs, Cubs, etc. Go to the ethnic foods aisle and/or spices aisle. The mexican red peppers are just as spicy
Source(s):
tried it myself
