My mother used to buy them when I was young and we all loved them. I found some in a grocery store in Brunswick, Maine about five years ago, but I think they were the last two jars on the planet. Any help out there?

Answers:
I think you will jsut have to make it yourself. Cook the tongue until they are tender, seasoned with salt and pepper. Boil vinegar, water, sugar all in equal amount, add strips of ginger. Cool and pour into the tender tongue. Let stand for 24 hours before eating.
