Answers:
no but some garlic might lol

Other Answers:
Yes, but take it out before serving, they can get bitter if they cook too long.

I don't know what it is about the Bay leaf but I always find it adds a certain piquancy to this particular dish probally, maybe a dash of rosemary as well.

help what?

Sounds like it could use all the help it could get, so yes, I believe it would. Certainly would

rosemary goes better with head i think

Hmm. No, not for me, one look at a shrunken head in my stew and I'd reach for the barfbag. A Shrunken Head Stew would not be Shrunken Head Stew without a couple bay leaves thrown in early on in the simmering process. Be careful with the Cumin, but Molasses and Worcestershire add a unique zip.

go for it add 2!

I would add some rosemary so it could say its prayers before getting cooked! and a pinch of Cayenne...

two shots of Worcestershire...

and a fifth of jack...

on second though I may need the Jack to kill the taste all together... Actually, epicureans around the world reject bay leaves when assembling a luscious Shrunken Head Stew. The humble curry leaf lends the stew a much more subtle flavor, while a dash of turmeric will give it a slightly Persian overtone.
