?Of the raw sushi, I'd have to say I love "Toro" (Otoro-fatty tuna belly) best! Toro is cut from the tuna's belly and is the most choice part of the fish.

It is praised for its high fat content. It is rich, tender, and literally melts in your mouth like butter! Need I say more? (*^o^*) You have got to try it at least once(*^o^*) Other raw types I like are "Hirame", halibut that is transparent, and tender, perfect!

It's flavor is delicate and often accented with ponzu sauce.
~And "Ama-ebi" (raw shrimp). One of the greatest delicacies in the sushi case, ama ebi, when cleaned, is shiny, almost transparent, and sweet.?

Other Answers:
none, I'm a vegetarian
I tried a vegetarian sushi once, I didn't like the taste of seaweed
Haven't tried sushi yet. But intend to one of these days.
So what are the kinds of sushi? I thought there would be just one type of sushi with different flavours.
I love yellowtail (hamachi) and arizona rolls. The fish is not strong and it is not chewy. I guess I am in my "yellowtail phase".
I love "California rolls", crab with avacado wrapped in rice roll and seaweed.
Usually california roll cause it's standard or I go for the shrimp one
Sushi is my favourite food!!
Am vegetarian, I like ones like:
avocado and cucumber
tofu and chilli
eggplant and avocado
Source(s):
yum
Every kind but it must be prepared only by a japanese. no compromise.
I ate only once and I almost trow it up...sorry for that, but I actually liked!I know it's sounds crazy, but it didn't taste bad,I just wasn't used to it!I have no idea what kind of it it was...I tried several and maybe that's the reason why I didn't feel well after that!
white fish, praws, rice and nice shapes.
I prefer sashimi over sushi... I think all the rice gets in the way... Always ask the sushi chef what he/she recommends. It's a good way to try the freshest things. Even if you don't like certain things most chefs can prepare something for you. The restaurant I work at have several "special" rolls for customers who want something different. And most places will make your rolls with rice paper if you don't like the seaweed paper. The best thing to do is try a little at a time, and start with the basics...tuna and salmon are good choices for sushi or sashimi, while California rolls are a good choice for sushi novices. Happy Eating!!
