your food? I'm looking for aswers like...I make pasta by cutting peices of vegetable very thin, or I marinade mangos in honey and crushed red peppers. I would like to see what people in different countries and climates do to prepare their food. I am from California.
Thank you for your answers.
Answer:
i don't how it's called in english but with the meat,we cut it in huge chunks and hang it to dry for weeks and salt is sprinkled and dry it again but this time under the sun. after a few weeks, we wrap it with a newspaper then keep it, not in the fridge but inside a huge jar. the longer it is, the better. then we add it to other dishes. it's good but people might find it eerie to be doing that.
I make kim chee cucumbers in the summer with Kim chee base and baby pickling cukes - and give them to people for football games - they go amazingly well with beer and now my whole gang is addicted to them - not your traditional American football fare (Midwest)
I'm also from California :)
I rarely use granulated sugar... I'm all about baker's sugar!!! And I somehow end up putting a dab of sugar in everything... Hmm.
I also have a nasty habit of adding garlic salt to everything. Egg and cheese omlettes, scrambled eggs, ground beef... I'm told that's a unique thing of mine.
I seem to have a garlic/Worchestershire sauce/ground beef rule. Anytime I cook ground beef, in goes minced garlic and Worchestershire sauce too. I can't help it!
Mangos in honey and crushed red peppers... Sounds intriguingly delish!
well i don't know if its really what your looking for but even if i could have anything in the world to eat.....my favorite dish will always be mac & cheese with tuna and peas...
I slather a pickle spear in cream cheese and then I wrap it with a piece of thinly sliced smoked turkey. I Live in Pierre, SD
