Russian food focus mostly on carbohydrate -mostly potato-, I think because its freezing cold there. I went there for a visit, and every time we were invited, they will serve a lot of Beef, T-bone Steak and many Garlicky taste chicken.

Russia isnt in the middle east for one. middle eastern is more spicy.
Taste.
Middle Eastern food makes you say Roar! and wowie!
Spicey!
what do the Russians have that's so popular anyways? Ive never heard of anything that Russians eat. never seen a recipe for them or anything. on the other hand middle eastern food is probably so popular its like neck to neck with Chinese. OK maybe not that close but hey its getting there. ME food has ALOT of flavor diff. variates and many things in them. alot of veggies are eaten and a main meal always has a portion of meat, rice and salad....its all good food. try some.
The difference is that Middle Eastern food is better
