Mate, Singapore is food haven. You don't have to go to a restaurant to eat the best food in town. Just go around and discover yourself.
Strangely.. many of the places with good food, don't really have a name...
Like the prawn mee at east coast road... no name... just called the beach road prawn mee at east coast road (there are several beach road prawn mee).
or the Jalan Kayu Roti Prata, I believe that has a name, but people just know it as the Jalan Kayu Roti Prata..
Then there is the Katong Laksa. Everytime I ask which is the stall, no one can tell me... its just in Katong...
If its chinese food restaurants, one of my favourite chains is the Soup Restaurant.
