Answer:
I like to add a nice tomato sauce and lots and lots of cheeze!!
add one of these
butter
or
sugar - very nice
or
paprika
tuna mayo olives peas carrots ham cheese maybe not all at once
I'm assuming cheap & easy.
pesto sauce
tomato sauce with pieces of crunchy fried bacon
Cream, a small amount of cheese and some mushrooms.
garlic, butter, olive oil or olives fine chopped
I love to do butter or olive oil along with a spice such as a Mrs Dash very simple but yummy.
Mayonnaise and curry powder.
A dead spider ?
Ketchup?
An Oxo cube?
Salad cream?
lentils?
Baked beans?
batchelors pea and ham cuppa soup?
Dust?
How about just throw it all in, then you'll have enough for tomorrow and the day after...
Tuna
Olive oil, while cooking this also helps to stop it sticking, You could try cheese sauce, about 2 dl. of liquid cream with about 1oz of cheese melted in it, pepper and salt to taste, maybe a few bits of diced up bacon
How about:
-tinned chopped tomatoes and herbs
-grated cheese
-chopped tomatoes, cucumber and pasta tomato sauce (can get cheaply from supermarket in tins or jars)
-cheese sauce (make white sauce cheaply from flour and milk, add grated cheese). You can put it in a baking dish, sprinkle some more cheese on top, put it in the oven and--hey presto--macaroni cheese. I've tried this, and it's seriously tasty.
Pasta is great because it's really cheap and filling. The food of students, rather than gods :)
Parsley
when your making pasta sauce, if you add a hint of cinnamon it gives it a burst of flavours. Especially if its a hot sauce ;)...
If you have eggs, pasta, any kind of pasta sauce (doesn't matter if you made it, or if its meaty, as long as if it has tomato puree), cream etc listen up
Firstly cook the pasta and the sauce. Add one tablespoon maz to the pasta. Then layer the sauce and pasta. On top put in a little 'sauce' of a mixture of egg and cream (1 tblspn max) and then put it in the oven for 25 mins around 190(degrees Celcius) cook until the top part is brown, you can also put in herbs on top like rosemary and mint ;)
Boiling water.
seafood sauce and prawns
macaroni- broccoli, carrots, salsa
spaghetti- cream of mushroom soup, taco seasoning, cream cheese,
have fun experimenting
Real butter also grated cheese make pasta delicious.!!!
1. Fry cooked pasta (al diente) with olive oil and soy sauce and then shake some sesame seeds over it
2. Add mayonnaise, tuna, & black pepper to cooked pasta
Bon appetit
It all depends on your taste. Ketchup, soy sauce, hint of vinegar, salt & pepper to taste, makes it taste similiar to yock. If you add like bacon bits and a dressing like ranch or italian and some diced tomatoes you got like a cold salad and its looks appealing to serve.
cut up ham
oxo cube its great in allsorts add 1 to your pasta if you dont have an oxo do you have soup in the cupboard if so cook the pasta add the soup then put it in the oven for half an hour add cheese if you have it hey presto instant pasta bake
my favourite pasta dish is paprika and lime hmmm could be coz ime pregnant tho
Why not try a simple traditional italian "ragu" tomato sauce - and not out of a jar! Chop up an onion, a few mushrooms and a clove of garlic, fry in some olive oil, then add a tin of tomatoes. (BTW, tinned tomatoes are actually better for you than fresh ones - the canning process concentrates some beneficial constituent.) If these are ready chopped, put them straight in - if they are whole, pour the liquid into the pan and then chop them up in the tin (this is so much easier than chasing them around the pan!) with a fork. Add some herbs (dried mixed for simplicity, dried or fresh basil for authenticity). Pour onto the cooked pasta and add grated cheese (again, cheddar for simplicity, parmesan for authenticity). Dead simple, totally foolproof, very very italian and really good for impressing people with your culinary expertise!
Olive oil , salt, black pepper.
Basic pasta sauce (make your own with tomatoes and onions or buy a jar) Add anything to that you like - e,g, cooked bacon pieces, tuna, chicken, ham, sweetcorn, olives, anchovies, (you can get alll this in tins)
I find that adding cheese to the end product often makes the meal tastier (cheese melts in but use good strong cheddar or parmesan)
Mmmmm! Think I'll go check my cupboard..........
Tomato passata, a couple of sundried tomatoes, a little tomato & garlic puree, chopped basil - tasty & simple
dolmio sauce, lots of melted cheese and a little bitof mixed herbs. oh and some mince too (cook it with the dolmio) YUMMY!!
Try frozen/canned veggies- any kind works, even mixed veggies, but broccolli is very good. Make sure you cook/ heat them before you add and drain them well. Add the veggies to regular sauce or with broccolli add it to canned fettuccini sauce.
Also olive oil, chopped onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, and green peppers, canned black olives(sliced) and garlic. Add some parm on top and maybe canned chicken or leftovers.
Another good one is chili pasta. Cook the pasta and drain. Brown some ground beef/turkey with garlic powder and some chopped onions. Drain the meat. Mix the meat with a can of chili, any variety, but no beans works best, and top the spagetti with it. Add some chopped onions, tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese.
And finally if you want to try something really interesting, try spaghetti soup. Cook spaghettit and drain. Get a couple cans of chicken stock/broth and heat in a big pot. Add frozen/canned/fresh: corn, onions, green peppers, tomatoes (canned is best, dump in the juice too), black olives, mushrooms, carrots, celery, and any other veggies you might want. Put in any seasonings- salt, pepper, lots of garlic, etc. Cook until the veggies are half way done. Add chicken, cut into bite sized pieces (can be fresh or leftovers). Dump chicken in pot with veggies. Cook until chicken is no longer pink and the veggies are tender. Cut spaghetti up into 2 inch lengths (you can break up the spaghetti before cooking it if easier) and dump in pot. When it is hot, pour into bowls and add lots of parmesan cheese on top. Another variation- omit the chicken and add frozen meatballs and spinach to the soup and crumbled bits of spicy sausage.
Happy cooking!!
a spoon full of margarine, salt and pepper....its gorgeous!
Get yourself down your local supermarket,or preferbably fruit and veg stall. Buy yourself a basil plant. Keep it away from the draft, and let it get some sunlight. Do not over water,in fact let it dry so that the leaves begin to crinkle before soaking. Watch the baby revive and grow.. Cook your pastsa, slosh a bit of olive over it and there tear fresh basil leaves over and stir..Lovely.
