Im on a diet ,but im craving chinese food!!! What should I buy???

Answer:
Avoid the deep fried items such as sweet and sour, general tso, seasame chicken/beef... etc.

Go for the stir fried items, broth style soups and rice.

Soup
Won Ton
Egg Drop
Pork Noodle

Entrees
Beef and Broccoli
Sauteed strimp
Vegetable stir fry
Mu-Shu
Steamed fish with ginger and scallions

Also, you can ask them to use no oil to cook.
rice with sweet and sour
White rice.
Basically nothing. Rice is not so light but...

Take a look at thuis chart of chinese food and its fats

steamed rice and mixed veggies
General's Delight. Mostly Veggies
The boiled rice - thats about it - actually try the braised meals (chicken & veg with cashew nuts etc) better still go for Thai food - usually much less oil in their stirfrys (buit skip the curries because of the coconut milk).
Better still have what you want and start tomorrow with a big walk and back to the diet - reward yourself.
white rice =0)
Fish.
Maybe the egg drop or wonton soup. It's really light but filling at the same time, you just don't need to put those fried chips that they give you with the soup in it. Or any of the grilled veggie and chicken dishes would be ok. It be ready in 10 mins. That's what I had for lunch was Egg drop soup. Enjoy!
The fat is no where near as bad for your health as MSG. That mono-sodium glutamate kills. Pure and simple. It's a pure salt substance that opens up the taste buds, but erupts the blood pressure. As far as low fat chinese food, your best bet would be the steamed flounder with chinese mushrooms and baby corn.
sweet n sour chicken with boiled rice, chicken chow mein,
Go for the steamed entrees. A lot of chinese restaurants usually have a "light" section. So, get some steamed chicken, veggies and ask for the sauce on the side. that way, you can just use it as a dip. Go for brown rice for more fiber.

A good lower-fat appetizer choice would be steamed veggie dumplings.

Real Chinese food is often quite healthy. In US chinese restaurants, you need to know how to pick them.

Enjoy!
get sum for the diet menu
Stir fried veggies with chicken
rice
Most Chinese restaurants have a light menu. Any of the steamed veggies and rice are low fat. But to be honest, if you a diet to be sucessful, instead of cutting out what you crave entirely, eat smaller portions and you want feel like you're being deprived.
Tea & Rice, perhaps some steamed vegetables on the side. Thats basically little to no fat. Truthfully.

cheers babe
steamed rice w/ chicken and veggie stir fry. Most Chinese places have a special section on their menu for low-fat and lower sodium foods (all the places where I live have it). Soy sauce is low fat, but it has lots of sodium, so it might make you retain water for a day.
You can try hot and sour soup, or most of their soups- they are filling, but low-fat. Now I'm craving hot and sour soup.
You can tell them to steam your meat and veggies. They can put the "brown sauce" on the side. Some chinese restaurants have brown rice also. Get regular rice or brown. No fried rice

Chicken and vegetables
Shrimp and vegetables
Beef and vegetables
Steamed Vegetables

Stay away from fried or sauted dishes!
noodles, sweet and sour chiken, hot veal.
screw diet.
