Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(What cheese do they use in Mexico on tacos?),it will help you,my kids.

it is like goat cheese

Answer:
This is a list a cheeses found in Mexico:

A?ejo cheese (Aged cheese)
Asadero cheese or Chihuahua cheese
Cotija cheese or "Queso A?ejado"
Criollo cheese (Creole cheese)
Jalape?o cheese
Oaxaca cheese or "Quesillo"
Panela cheese
Queso Fresco/Queso Blanco (Fresh/White cheese)
Requesón

However, the kind of cheese that you are looking for is a goat cheese that used for tacos. Here is a list composed of cheeses from the first list that match your description:

A?ejo cheese (Aged cheese)
Cotija cheese or "Queso A?ejado"
Fetta is good and there is goat cheeses. Go to a specialty store and find out if you do not get any help.
I've had lots of mexican food that has Cotija cheese on it. (white and crumbly) It's tasty! ;)
I think its called Oaxaca, not sure how they pronounce it. Its the soft white cheese used on tacos, etc and melted for sauces on chimichangas. Its so good!
Oaxaca cheese is the common cheese used
queso fresco
Some use asadero; which is the best cheese in the world! It's almost like mozzarella, but better.
You might want to try queso fresco...it is crumbly, but has a rubbery texture..my husband is from mexico, and that is what they always use on tacos, but doesn't taste strong like goat cheese.

Also, try queso cotija...it is crumbly and salty.

I don't put cheese on my tacos....but when I use cheese in authentic mexican food, I use queso chihuahua...it melts nicely.
Asedero Cheese
All the suggestions provided so far are good, but some tacos do not only use the white crumbly cheese, asadero, oaxaca and manchego are also widely used. These last three melt beautifully and the manchego is the strongest flavor.
Any bitter cheese that is around, Feta, ect.
mexican cheese.
