flush with copius amounts of water my friend. get in the shower if you have to but flush your eye for a minimum of 15 minutes. It will seem like forever but it should do the trick. If you don't get relief, go to the doctor. Alternately you could call the poison control center, # should be in the book and tell them that you got Capsicum in your eye.
Wash it out immedietly, until you get relief..
Ive had salsa in my eye, it burnt so bad.
Flood your eyes with cold water until all of the pepper is gone. Make sure to wash the pepper off of your hands before touching your eyes!

OUCH!! Milk does a better job of taking out the heat. I don't think milk will hurt/cause ingfection your eye (certainly not any more risk then the habenero). Put the milk (or water, milk mixture) in a shot glass and wash eye as you would with an eye wash (place the shot glass over your eye, get a good seal, invert by throwing back your head and then open your eye.) The only other option I know is the shower thing the other poster suggeted. It will take longer.
you are not the first. a fellow at culinary school told me a story about handleing dried habs in his garage in summer. frequent wiping of his brow got the pepper oil in his eyes. Thats how I know milk will help.
