When I have take OUT whoever orders orders chicken balls, rice, & I forget what else. Depends on what the peeps like. I had Chinese food 2 days ago. mmmmmmm

I would go for Shrimp Egg foo Young or General Tso Chiclken( white MEAT ONLY) or Spicy Eggplant with brown rice... It s always my favorites..

Not sure what a "take away" is, but down south we order take out all the time. My favorite is cashew chicken or shrimp in lobster sauce along with egg rolls, fried rice & lo-mein noodles. My sweetie bypasses everything for the sushi - he says its fabulous, but I'm still not sure about eating anything raw. We also enjoy a couple of all you can eat buffets in town - price is the same & you get to taste a lot of things you wouldn't normally order.

I usually get Sweet & Sour Shrimp, Shrimp Fried Rice, Hot & Spicy Soup, or the Pu Pu Platter... the name is hillarious. The Pu Pu plater consist of 2 egg rolls, 2 spring rolls, 2 chicken on a strip or 4 hot wings, 4 crab raggoon, and 2 fried biscuits. It varies from which ever place you go to. The chinese place I visit also sells Sushi, so I usually get the Philadelphia Roll or the California Roll.
Beef chop suey or a beef chow mein with fried rice and chips.

Before I became a vegitarian, I used to get sesame chicken with shrimp or chicken fried rice, egg foo yuon(not sure how to spell that one!), sweet and sour chicken, and sometimes I'd get almond chicken. Now I get plain fried rice and a bean sprout eggroll with dipping sauce.
I don't usually get take out, I like to go to a good Chinese buffet.... That way I can pick and choose, and get a little of this, a little of that.
When I *do* get take out, it's usually just General Sao Chicken.
Buffet favorites? Fried wontons/ranguns, spring rolls, lo mein, sesame chicken. We have a couple here that have big seafood buffets, with crab legs, on the weekends. Yum.
Errrr.... Now you've got me craving Chinese food!! *ha* :P
