Pizza from what I know dates back to the Chinese - I think Marco Polo brought it over to Italy. Napoli is the BEST city in Italy to eat pizza! Made with fresh mozzarella, basil, olive oil & other ingredients - it is a joy to eat. Traditionally it is 'folded' (called 'al Libretto' in Italian) when eaten.

I think everyone likes pizza because it tastes good, is easy to eat with your hands, can be delieverd, is well priced and can have mulitple toppings of your choice. I eat pizza at least twice a week.
