Not that full English breakfast. What do English people really eat for brekkies?

What did you eat this morning?

Do you eat breakfast or elevensies?

Do you eat differently in winter; e.g. porridge?

Answer:
Well on a sunday i have the full english...bacon, sausage, hash browns, toast, beans/egg/or tomatoes (never all 3 together) cup of tea and finish with toast and marmalade.
Rest of the week i either have toast and marmalade and a cup of tea, or cereal, at the moment its weetabix, but could be rice crispies or cornflakes or frosties. Sometimes in winter i have porridge oats made from quaker oats in a pan with pinch of salt, cup of water, boiled, poured into a big bowl and then sprinkle of sugar over the top with milk.
weetabix
I had weetabix for brekkie.
i think english breakfast consists of ...croissants...butter ....and a cup or orange juice... !!
Some English people are weird (like myself) and eat Super Noodles for Breakfast or a packet of crisps. Its called a very "unhealthy diet" and is typical of most people in Britain :o)
well normally I eat toast with marmite or jam (jelly) sometimes its cereal and milk and every now and again its the full english which i would have more often if it didn't take so long to prepare and then clean up after which is not good first thing in the morning
A bacon sandwich this morning.
Weetabix and hot milk good for the winter
Scott`s porage oats done in the microwave, or honey nut cheerios, with sweetened soya milk.
Museli & fruit in the summer, sometimes porridge in the winter. Toast with marmite on the go. Don't know if I'm typical or not.
Drink of hot water with lemon juice and teaspoon of honey and then wholemeal toast with olive spread and damson jam.
depends what i fancy:

usually Kellogs Fruit and fibre... with fresh banana and probiotic yogurt.

or

Toast (granary) with olive oil spread and either Marmite or Marmalade.

or

Bacon sandwich

and then for being good all week. every sunday i have a full english!
Bacon, beans, grilled tomatoes, fried eggs, onion rings, tast, mushrooms, sausages.... the list goes on and on!
An English breakfast these days for a lot of people is a cup of coffee and a ciggy. Too busy to eat.
Most people have toast, cereal and some drink i.e coffee, tea, juice.
I haven't had anything yet, but I know there's some bacon in the fridge so will have a bacon butty for breakfast.
And I suppose you tend to have something hot in winter like porridge or something cooked, egg, beans, cheese on toast etc.
I think for most people it's two cups of tea and three ciggies !
I eat breakfast at breakfast. This morning I had Oatabix (oat equivalent to weetabix as I am wheat intolerant) with Soya milk and fresh strawberries. In the winter I have porridge made with soya milk and a teaspoonful of honey.
Mug of coffee usually does me but all this talk of porridge reminds me of my childhood so i am of to the shop 2 get some hot porridge with a bid dollop of honey.
The full English breakfast is tricky to prepare, cholesterol on a plate and probably only eaten at weekends or when on holiday.
Most English people grab a cup of tea, some toast and marmalade and run for the bus. If they have time they might indulge in a bowl of cornflakes or bird food - known in England as Muesli. (Genuine Muesli is a completely different thing).
Me? A cup of green tea. Don't eat breakfast, it wakes up my digestive system. If I eat breakfast I'm hungry by mid-day and still want dinner at night.
tea and toast for the morning in summer
sausage, baked beans, hash brown and egg for the winter
