Answer:
Nobu
The London outpost of Nobu was the first European venture for celebrated Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa. The restaurant is located in the stylish Metropolitan hotel on London's Old Park Lane.

During the day, diners are not only enthralled by the food but also by the magnificent views of Hyde Park, while by night, the beautifully illuminated space is one of the city's hottest dining destinations.

Booking is essential. Lunch GBP 30, Dinner GBP 60
The one where they cook the fish first.
Not sure for London, but there is one in Cardiff, right at the front of the town centre, on Newport Rd just off Queen St, next to Greggs. It looks the real deal - I've never been in, but have seen the plates going round on the carousel.
Nobu, at the Metropolitan Hotel.

Divine, the real article and you won't find better in London.....
i would like to know aswell, i can have them everyday.
I know a Japanese restaurant that is probably the best kept secret in London. The atmosphere is warm, buzzing and friendly, the staff are attentive and the food is great.

I'd totally recommend trying this place. It doesn't have the sterile polished look of many chain Japanese restaurants, but what it has plenty of is character and charm.

Its called Fujiyamas and its in Brixton
Nobu
Ubon
Matsuri (Holborn or Bury St)
Myabi - Great Eastern Hotel

Ti name a few top ones, they are not cheap though. Nobu will set you back at least £50 per person for a meal.
