Pretty much self-explanatory

Answers:
bread and marg do the trick, if you are eating indian food try some chapattis, with mexican maybe some cool lettuce and if you can get soya sour cream.

potaotes can help if you are cooking the food try varying the times at which you add the chillis it can make a huge differnce to the heat but does not compromise the taste

Other Answers:
Drink milk

Milk, bread or crackers. soda crackers and milk

Immediate consumption of dairy products like milk, sour cream or ice cream. The more fat in the product the better. Also, starchy foods tend to absorb the heat! A popular Mexican cure is to consume beer to cool the burn! HOWEVER DO NOT DRINK THE MILK, JUST HOLD IT IN YOUR MOUTH OR YOU CAN CAUSE THE HOTNESS TO VENTURE FURTHER DOWN YOUR THROAT!!!

Candy can help...and even put water in your mouth for a minute, and then drink.

I can't believe no one mentioned guacamole or horchata!
The fat from the avocado fixes you right up :)
And the horchata, I guess it's the rice maybe.

The best way to get rid of that heat if you are lactose intolerent is to drink a very cold glass of ice water or to just let the heat go away on its own unless you really are burning up. Try soy milk. I drink Silk.

Remove the seeds, get a piece of wheat bread and let it seat on your tongue until it becomes really soft and chew it slowly.
