The difference is what you gonna put inside the wrappers.
Just size. the wonton wrapper is smaller.
A wonton wrapper is smaller and very, very thin. An egg roll wrapper is larger and of a heavier texture.
my husband owns a chinese restaurant - the eggroll skins or wrappers we use are bigger and thinner than the wanton skin - plus the wonton are thicker than the eggroll wrappers.
They are made from the same stuff, just the size is different. One eggroll wraper could be cut into four wonton wraper.
Shape and size
They are basically the same stuff. They are made with the same ingredients, and the size and thickness of the wrapers is the basic difference between them.
