1 1/2 of water and 1 cup of rice. cook in a slow fire.
Logically 3 to 1.
2 cups of water per 1 cup of rice, if you cook it in a rice cooker (a steamer like kitchen aide) but if you will cook it in a pot over a stove 3 cups to 1 cup will do.
Also take in count that japanese sticky rice uses a touch of vingegar, which is one of the elements which make it so sticky
