I bought a 2 oz can (56g) $1.29. Anchovies flat fillets in Olive Oil
Fresh ones are about $12.99/ lb at my local store, and the simple canned ones (56 g container/ about 2 oz) are $1.25/ can. If you get the good kind (from spain or italy) they can be about $3.99 per can.

Anywhere from a couple bucks a tin for the flat ones in oil, a bit more for the ones in oil rolled up with a caper inside.......then there are the salt packed ones from Italy and Spain, which are pricey and need to be soaked in a quarter cup of milk before using to leach out some of the salt, or they will overpower the dish you're making with salt.........Nothing better to snack on, give me some Ritz crackers and a tin of anchovies.......
