When do chinese people eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner?
Answer:
Well, people used to eat pretty early for breakfast, but it is usually not the case anymore. But still nobody eat breakfast at 9, we usually eat around 6 or 7.
For lunch, that depends on one's work schedule, but usually around noon.
For dinner, it is usually around 5 or 6.
No, we do not eat late meal.
Tea is consumed by basically everyone, since it is cheap. But most of the younger generation do not drink tea anymore, or switch to westernizd iced tea.
The most typical breakfast is hot unsweetened soy milk and fried dough (kind like Krispy Kreme without glaze)
No, we do not have cocubines anymore either.
Morning, noon and evening are typical times for anyone on this earth. Where are you from?
I know what you are asking. People should not get offended when they do not understand that the questioner is ignorant of Eastern ways.
The mother and other women in the house, Grandmother..Aunt..Cousin - (concubine), wake up early in the morning, and morning meal is prepared. It consists of what favourite thing a person wishes to eat when he/she wakes up. By region, it could be fish and rice, beef and rice, sweet cakes, tea (or if you are poor..hot water).
What is left over, or being later prepared after the morning meal becomes the afternoon meal..this includes Dim Sum...if at a cafe. Dim Sum is everything that you see in a Chinese establishment on the menu..in sample plates for an increase in the variety.
Dinner is pretty much the same, maybe smaller if you are going to have something later in the evening...like dinner at eight.
Dinner can be a very formal event in China. These are the people that invented the idea of a public place to eat in exchange for money.
Dinner can also be something very simple as a bowl of won ton/mein with tea.
It depend to the person what time they want to take it.
Typical eating times are when they get hungry, for the poor is when they can get food, for Americans it's all the time we're all a bunch of overweight gluttons!!!
You mean, "what ARE the typical eating times..."
God, it's like playing 1st grade teacher around here.
hhahaha. i love the first answer. really, *second person who answered*, that old tradition that you said isnt around anymore
