As a toddler in Hawaii, I was fed pig intestines boiled in blood. I don't know if there is a technical name for that dish or if it's a Hawaiian dish, or what was going through my mom's head when she fed it to me lol.
Monkey brains but they are delicious just didn't like the setting because they were still alive and they cut the cranium and the when they open the head the brain looks as if is moving but is not!! It is tender and soft has good flavor but I love it if you mix it with rice spices and either bread or flower tortillas!!

Home fried frog legs. But then again I'm French so it ain' t that weird. Other that that would be tripe, which is pickled cows stomach.

Both were fresh and quite good. I have also eaten canned Cactus worms. Canning adds a dimension to their texture but takes away a bit of the flavor.
A ritz cracker spread with liver pate and then topped with a slice of sweet pickle. It was actually good!
