Answer:
Something called "sea cucumber" in a Chinese stir-fry (silly me, I thought it might be some kind of sea vegetable or seaweed).
I later discovered it was a type of worm called "Medusa worm" that lives in the sea.
It was actually quite tasty, but I dare say I won't be eating it again.
For extra credit in my french class I ate escargot (snails)
Fried alligator tail, was really good too!
squid.
It is very good even though it looks funny.

MENUDO
Believe it or not, I once bit into a fetus in my soup in Mexico.

Potted meat in the can.....GROSS! And I did try fried alligator once.

In Paris, frogs legs and snails with garlic. Yuk..!!!
In LA, shark meat. tasted like dry chicken meat. Yuk..!
Frog legs. They taste like chicken. Yummy
no it doesn't taste like chicken.
I was rummaging through my friends frig, late at night, after party hungry thing- and ate this chicken medallions stuff that had been fried. YUCK- not chicken it was rattlesnake, yeah really.
Taught me a valuable lesson, midnight snacks only out of your own frig.
Pruchetta (sp??) -- it is like bacon. I am sure it was cooked somehow, but to me it felt & tasted like raw bacon. I was given a piece by my son's NEW father-in-law. I just stood there with tears welling up in my eyes praying I was not going to throw up on him. He just politely handed me a napkin and laughed saying some people don't like it.
Cow tongue. Ok, not wierd to me, but I'm sure to some.
PS - its very good.
cheeseburger, how about you?
I ate sea urchin last night. I think they call it Uni. i didn't like it...has a consistency of raw eggs.
I ate muskrat once for Red Wing tickets from a radio station promotion.
Oddly enough, it didn't taste all the bad.
The hardest part was getting over the idea of what I was actually eating.
The weirdest food that I have ever eaten was ethoipian food.I tried this on 132nd and Lenox Ave in a caf'e called Geichens. The food was served on a big wooden dish and you could not use any forks or spoons. You had to eat with your hands. The food was so hot that I had to take a cold shower when I got home.I also had a hard (hot) time in the bathroom if you know what I mean.(LOL) P.S I had to check if I was bleeding.(LMAO)
At a Mediterranean Cafe, and it was called felafel's.
Chinese Food!
Fried aligator and baked shark
I was in Sicily and the people I was with bought me a carton of some sort of fish and I started eating it and they told me it was Octopus.and Polypus
It was snails.in there shell.
sauteed dried spicy grasshopper ... crunchy!!!
snapping turtle....it tasted horrible and was like you were chewing on rubber.
my friend ate kangaroo when she was on a missions trip to austrailia.
Swallow's nest - it's a chinese delicacy that's usually put into dessert soups like almond tea. It's basically the spit that the swallow produces to hold its nest together - dried when harvested and crunchy/gelatinous when cooked.
