Foods covered with a sauce, sprinkled with cheese or bread crumbs, or both, and baked to a golden brown
Au Gratin...if you are doing it at home, toast the breadcrumbs in some butter after you take them out of the food processor.
Au gratin , i make things easy for myself by keeping small packs of grated cheese & a few of prepared crumbs in the freezer ,these are used up pretty fast.so i have no idea how long they can be kept frozen,more than a month i guess.
