Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.What is this cake called?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(What is this cake called?),it will help you,my kids.
OK, i'll try to describe it as good as I can.
It should be some sort of cake that is associated with a spanish speaking country because I had it in spanish class. It was really wet, I think from milk. It was basically a golden color and I think I remember a little bit of rum flavoring to it. It was pretty sweet too.
Any ideas would be great because I can't find the person who brought it in and I can't think of anything off of the top of my head. Thanks!
Answer:

Tres Leche cake
Was it a rum cake or rum torte?
flan...maybe
Sounds like a Rum Cake to me.
I think you may be talking of panetela boracha (drunk cake). It is extremely moist, very sweet, and has a rum taste.
I think you had what is called tres leaches or in English Three milk. The cake is moist and slimy and the cake is a plain vanilla.
its called a flan, (leche flan) what we call in the philippines, mainly made up of eggs yolks and milk, i used to love it, but then once in a while i get something that smells gross, i can still smell the egg, so i stopped eating them, too much calories and fat too
