well i love paneer makani its Indian dish made of cheese.
i love koushary its Egyptian dish made of rice, lentil, tomato sauce &>daal{Lentil's}halwa,Sooji{semo... like never ate pakistani dishes.Also try Indian sweet RASGULLA,I'm

How about "mujeddera"? We call it "mucendra" in Cyprus. It's rice pilaf with green lentils. It's so delicious especially when accompanied by yogurt and green onions. mmmm yummy.
It's an Arabic dish but so popular in Cyprus among Greek and Turkish Cypriots (just like hummus).
There is a truck stop in Ontario Ca, called the 3 sisters near the jct of I-10 and I-15. The have the best rice and this awsome ground beef thing. I was always wondering where it came from, until just recently I was in Qatar. We went on a day trip and stopped at this Iranian rest. There it was, Awsome, althought the rice could have been better, But the meat was right on time. I love the spices they use. We also went to an old market as well, The aroma of the middle eastern spices is great!

Loved everything from that part of the world - Lamb and Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Chicken,Rasmalai,Kulfi,Halwa are some names I remember. Yum !!

What is Halwa? My family makes something we call Halwa, its like a sweet cream pudding eaten with puris. Not sure if its the same Halwa you're talking about.
