Masa harina is a type of flour made from maize and used for making corn tortillas. It is not what we call cornflour - that's just corn starch. I can't find it in any shops, only online. Anyone know where I might get it in shops?

Answer:
I've seen it in large supermarkets, my local Sainsbury and Tesco both sell it in their special selections.

I am a former chef in Canada and have been to the UK many times, the Tesco and ASNA stores may have it in the Ethnic Food aisles, but most African store sell it to, they use it in Ghana, Ethipoia, Somalia and central african dishes also.

Check the phone directory for these kind of shops in your area, there are also mail order catologes you cna purchase it for a few pound and have shipped to you in the post.
