I'm surprised that so many believe the USA can consume more food than China or India.
As over weight as many might think of the Americans, it's inconceiveable to have the entire nation of 300 million all averaged out eating 4 times more food than the chinese 1.3 billion people.
So for straight consumption, it should rank in the order of the world's population. Starting from China, then India, USA, Indonesia and Brasil.
that would have to be the countries with the most people.. China probably.
I would say that we Americans are the largest gluttons.
(I include myself in the group of guilty people)

Most likely Americans and the British are close catching up. The USA and Britain are more prone to eating Fast Food and Junk that is high in fat, salt and sugar!
