It's the best food in the world! LOVE gravy--any kind. Mashed potatoes....Sweet potatoes....beans & cornbread....cooked cabbage w/ potatoes & fried chicken....roast pork & sauerkraut.....it's ALL good!!!

My favorites have to be grits and Hoppin' John. My husband is more southern than me and he loves chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and collard greens.
He's taught me a lot about southern cooking.
I love a good chicken fried steak, biscuits and white gravy, and of course grits with butter- yum!!
