Sure is good, and health for you too. I live hummus, those chick peas are great with a little oil and garlic! Love tabbouleh too. It takes a while to make but worth it. - But baklava soooooooooooo good although it is high in calories.

And the baklava is my son's favorite dessert when dining at the Balkan-restaurant in our village.
Ever tried Baklava-rolls?? Walnut and sugar/clove syrup wrapped in phyllo dough. It's great.

LOVE IT !!! One of my favorite restaurants is Taverna Opa down here in Miami Beach. Baklava, Hummus, Tzatiki and my favorite dessert galaktabourico (not sure about the spelling) It is amazing fun food to eat..
I totally love M.E. food.
I drive to my favorite restaurant 30 miles to get it.
(only about 3 -4 times a year)

I did not know the Assyrians came up with the idea for baklava. I absolutely adore it! Just today I was talking about how fabulous a piece of baklava is with a small glass of Turkish coffee - YUM.
And, if I may say so myself, I make a killer hummus.
