Answer:
Hi

Arabic food is great. I'm not saying this just because I am Arab but because a lot of it is healthy. Hummus is a really healthy Arab appetizer and there are different variations of it. It goes great with falafel, which is a small patty made with beans and chick peas and yummy spices. This is really healthy for you.
well not arabic food but Persian food yes, my husband is persian,

have you got any good and easy recipes for this american girl to try out?

Ps I plan to try my hand at Maast tomorrow. Got some Abali Yogurt.

Have any tips?
it sounds good with i knew where to buy it.
I make a pretty good fattoush salad and I love it! I can eat it all the time! Oh and I love tabouli.
I've had it before it's great!
im arab, so yes, i love it! and i eat it ALOT!
me, i love arabic foods like kibbe, espija, wara dawali etc...
Girl, then I wish you were at my house to cook dinner for tonight. I LOVE Middle Eastern food. But unfortunately, tonight we're eating meatloaf...Meatloaf is a traditional. boring American dinner--not much to brag about.
Arabic foods in general are very tasty, i like them too. i can live without the okra, eggplant, and lamb though.
I love Arabic food! My husband is Palestinian, so I have tried lots of food from that culture. I can Eat my weight in Bamia! I love that stuff!
I love arabic food, because I'm Lebanese!!
I cook arabic food daily...I must be honest here..Yes alot of the appetizers are healthy such as hummus, tabouli, baba ghanouj, but its the home cooked meals I feel are full of fat.
Sure it calls for alot of use of veggies, but something is fried in almost every dish...i.e.
Fassolia, Bamia, Metloobeh, e.t.c
It is however tasty.
Love it!
Babaghanoush is my favourite, but I also like Felafel, Dolmas, Tabbouleh, Pilaf, Foul Medamas, (Fava beans, minus the Chianti.)
Tried some Date pasteries from Saudi Arabia that were fantastic, once.
