    Why are Indian grocery stores always called Indian/Pakistani stores?

Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days,anyone help us?

Answer:
Plus in this country as well as here in Canada we don't see the differences that the world set on it, I have many friends from both country's.

And as the first repondant said most of the food products they have and use are commom to both countrys, as the cuisine is similar to Northern Indian cusin, but there is a coastal area, and fish is popular and like Southern India is used in many dishes. You might not find as much coconut products in Pakistani cooking, more lentils, legumes, chicken and lamb as the population is almost 85% Muslim.
The things they sell are common and used by both Indian and Pakistani. Keep in mind they both were a same country till 1947.
