It's full of sugar. And candy are made of sugar and its not classify as fruit!
The sesame seeds are bine together with sugar and gelatin.
I think because they are made with honey.
There is a chinese dessert, with red beans inside a small round pastry, and it is rolled in seame seeds. Yum. I have noticed a lot of oriental/southeast asia desserts have sesame seeds on them.
