Well, I don't mean this in offense but back in "da day" a lot of african-americans didn't have much money. They had farms with chickens so they ate the chickens. And kool-aide is pretty cheap (like 10 cents a pack!) so with hardly any money, they had gotten their food and drink from fried chicken and kool-aide. Eventually, that got passed down through generations (somewhat like a tradition, I guess) and it just became a kind of custom people in the ghetto did.
Hell, I dunno.
But it was a cheap-*** meal, so what the hell?

The fact is, Im a black Jamaican woman and i absolutely hate fried chicken and kool Aid lost it years ago- somewhere between my 13th and 15th year. You would never find a Kentucky Fried Chicken in my kitchen!!!

Actually Kool Aid was very popular back in the 60's and 70's that's when they didn't have all these fruit drinks that are available now like Snapple's and fuses and sobe's so I know that was something that people drank back then . They even use to have The Big Kool Aid Man On commercials as well as in person at the local supermarkets.Kool Aid was as popular as coke back in the 60's, And Chicken was something people of all races would eat because people would have chicken coops in there back yards, even here in California . And it was something that family's would have to do because it helped to cut the cost of feeding their family's. That's even when eggs and milk were delivered to your door . But you wouldn't know that because obviously you are very young .

I live in the Netherlands and quite often I am the only black person in line. So your theory just died. KoolAid is perfect for spinners. They use the packets to die their wool. I can also tell that the spinners nowadays aren't of the darker persuasion. Stop being so focused on the little stuff and worry about something big.
