Answer:
Because noodles are cheap, less fat, easy to prepare and alot of variation you can combine with almost any ingredient.
simple to make
Why do americans like cheese burgers?
same reason why Americans like McDonalds....Maybe NOT the best anology, but u get my point
I'd say the same reason any one else does, they're good!
The same reason why you like what you like, personal preference.
Why does ANYONE like noodles?
it makes so many meals. I swear I think they could eat cat crap if it was served with sweet and sour sauce over noodles.
It's delicious and easy to eat.Why does anyone like noodles?
umm maybe because they taste good!
well its easy to make.its delicious. not so unhealthy.and as china is in asia.
Cheap and simple.
I'm an American, but I live in China. There isn't a whole lot of food available to feed the billions of people that live here. Noodles and rice are considered a filler food. It fills your stomach and doesn't cost a lot of money to grow and is inexpensive to buy in the markets. It is sad to see the starving people on the streets. When I was in McDonalds, there was a girl who came in off the street and was eating people's leftover food off the trays. I don't think it is that Asians like noodles, it is what they are used to eating. It is quite an eye opener to live here. I truly appreciate all that I have available to me in the United States.
Why do Americans like Big Macs? Why does anyone like any type of food? I like foods from many different countries. The reason that people in different countries have different traditional meals, is because different countries have different indigenous crops/animals, and have developed a range of different foods around those natural resources. Then these foods and cooking methods spread to and were adapted by people of different countries, when traders travelled further afield. This is why Italians love noodles too, it's just that they call them "pasta", and make them with durum wheat instead of rice flour. Asian traders taught them how to do it. The reason that the Japanese make tempura, is because Portugese traders introduced them to their traditional dish of fried fish in batter, which the Japanese folk adapted and adopted. Nowadays, with such a worldwide cosmipolitan culture and such a wide array of ingredients being available and affordable to most people, the majority of people (at least in England) have the chance to enjoy eating and cooking a variety of foreign dishes. This is why Chicken Tikka Masala was voted as England's national dish several years ago.
easy one. because it's tasty. ha! it IS that easy.
Because both served with broth or fried/sauteed, it is delicious.
Good questions. I'll get sick of eating rice everyday. Nice alternative..
cos it's their traditional food, and it's easy to make and it's tasty

it's like italians and pasta, americans and burgers, French and cheese etc...
Just thought I'd enlighten you that Asians, as a whole do not eat just noodles.

In fact, the large part of Asia, which is non-Chinese, didn't know noodles till recently.

Even among the Chinese, noodles are not the staple food. It's one of the dishes of their rich cuisine; albeit, the best known - internationally.

Asian cuisine is really very varied and consists of a lot of kinds of food that use a lot of ingredients that you would not know about.

Let us not hasten to imagine insects , cats, dogs, horses and snakes; as is the ignoramuses way of lumping "Asians"; because most Asians are actually vegetarian!

It's considered somewhat unnecessary to kill something to eat it, while you have the plethora of vegetables and fruits, perennially, available there.

They've really got dumplings, pancakes, breads - leavened and unleavened, rice, noodles, vermicelli, soups, mouve bouches and desserts that you would be stunned to just see the variety of.

Asia is a rather large continent, in case you didn't know; so I'd suggest that you learn about their rich culture and cuisine, before you ask a Question like this which reveals your ignorance of this region.
Why do Wisconsinites like beer and cheese? Because that whats they grow up with. ;-)
Indigenous to the country-like people from the south liking collard greens. Because they grow there and people work with what they have.
1.) tastes good
2.) because well...Its NOODLES
3.) =]
The noodles are more plentiful in Asia. At least the ingrediants to make the noodles are.
hmm.. i thought our staple is rice??? most asian countries take rice as staple both long and short grain.. but we do have noodles and bread and prata and thosai and "bao" and "kuey"..
well maybe you should really go to various asia countries to see what they eat.. cos different countries eat different things...Thai food is different to Korean food. Korean food is different from Japanese food.. In various part of China, they eat different stuff.. In Singapore and Malaysia, you'll see different things...and you also have North indian and South Indian Cuisines...then we have Vietnamese food, indonesian food, macau food...
Why i love noodles?? because it's tradition... and there's a varieties of noodles that you will never get sick off..
we have wanton noodles, fishball noodles, lor mee, laksa, ramen, chow mien, Hongkong noodle, handmade noodle... and all taste good!! we have bee hoon, keuy tian and yi mee..... soba, udon, pho, dan dan mee, mee rebus, mee goreng, mee sian... and many more! and it's so much cheaper..
Because people like to eat food and that happens to be quite tasty. Like how certain people eat certain dishes, why bother asking? Why people like eating pasta? because it taste good to them? As simple as that!
I love noodles because it's my comfort food. Also, the Chinese have this dish called "long-life noodles" and it symbolizes a long life and good health. :-)
