Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Yam nuea recipe calls for fresh cilantro leaves with roots, can I use dried ones),it will help you,my kids.
I hate to go on post just to get those leaves,, it says 3 Tb chopped leaves, how much should I put dried cilantro ,, also will it make a big difference?
Answer:
I would skip it if all you have is dried cilantro. It won't have much flavor at all. You could add it for color, but that is about it.
There isn't really a good substitute for fresh cilantro.
Best to use fresh green ones but if you are not getting fresh one you can use dried,But again it would not much taste as the green fresh ones.
The aromatic scent is very volatile in cilantro and the dry ones will provide a poor representation of it's fresh cousins. If you don't have the fresh ones, just skip it.
It would be kinda like trying to use jerky to substitude fresh beef in a stew.
